I love how this structure stands on it's own. Is your place going to be out in the open? Or in the woods?

This place is way too themey, but the colors and materials are nice. I really put it in because I like the paneling on the ceiling and the light. I love the single light bulb for a fixture! It's my favorite part.

We should try to find you a little deer head, especially a little wood one like this.
If you don't end up building in a fire place it can be cheaper and cute to do a free standing one too.

These are photos I had in my scrap file that stood out to me while flipping through thinking of you and Adam. Don't take anything too literally. I may have just picked them because of one little detail, or just the feel of it.

This little blue house has the same, all on it's own in the forest feel'n. Plus it's so pretty. Strange how at home contemporary houses can look in the woods. Make sure to click on it and look at it close up, it's better.
I picked this out because I kind of like the low ceiling and little window. Low maintenance, chill little bedroom. Plus it had a cute little bathroom connected to it.
I like this photo because it's a clean and simple design and the wood seems really striking in it, yet it's just plywood. It's nice that you can use simple relatively cheap products that are still stand out. Click to see close up on the materials they used in all the rooms. They're all things that aren't too elaborate.
